The Role You’ll Play as a Project Manager

We’re looking for a Project Manager who makes sure projects don’t just start well , but actually finish well too.

This role is all about creating clarity, keeping momentum, and making sure everyone involved knows where they’re going and why.

This is not a role about pushing tickets or living in spreadsheets all day.

From the first kick-off meeting to the final delivery, the Project Manager ensures expectations are clear, communication flows, and progress stays visible. When priorities shift (because they always do), this role brings structure and calm, helping teams adapt without losing direction.

In short: the person who turns complexity into clarity and keeps projects moving , even when things get messy.

Your mission

The mission of a Project Manager at Idalko is to ensure that customers get real value from the solutions we deliver, smoothly, transparently and without unnecessary stress.

This role exists to turn complex projects into clear, structured and successful collaborations between customers, consultants and internal teams.

What Will you do as a Project Manager ?

Projects are followed from the very first kick-off all the way to delivery. Clear expectations are set from the start, while scope, planning and budget are actively managed throughout the journey. The focus is on keeping customers and consultants aligned and making sure projects keep moving forward instead of getting stuck in discussions or uncertainty.

A big part of the role is creating clarity. Risks are spotted early, problems are addressed before they turn into drama, and communication remains open, transparent and honest. Complex topics are translated into clear and understandable language so that everyone stays on the same page.

The role also acts as the bridge between people. Close collaboration happens daily with customers, Atlassian consultants and engineers, as well as the sales and solutions teams. The goal is simple: keep everyone aligned and moving in the same direction.

Finally, projects are kept under control without becoming overly controlling. Planning and forecasting are monitored, project health is tracked, stakeholders are kept informed, and escalations are handled when necessary — ideally before they become urgent.

• Working closely with both customers and technical teams is energising.
  
• Problems are addressed proactively rather than immediately escalated.
  
• Strong understanding that project management is, above all, about people.
  
• Experience in IT, consulting or SaaS is a strong plus.
  
• Familiarity with Atlassian tools is a bonus.
  
• Professional proficiency in Dutch and English is required; French is a strong plus.
  
• Knowledge of and certification in project management methodologies — or a strong willingness to obtain them — is essential.
