What will you do as a Business Developer?
You’ll play a key role in Idalko’s growth. That starts with listening. You get to know our potential customers — their goals, their pain points, their ways of working. From there, you help shape a solution that fits. That might involve improved processes, better team collaboration, or the smart use of platforms like Atlassian — but always starting from the human side.
You’ll be building relationships with new customers and strengthening those with existing ones. Your role is both strategic and hands-on: you think long-term, but you also act on immediate opportunities.
Leads come in from a wide range of industries and company sizes. You connect with decision-makers (often at C-level), advise them, and help close deals. You’ll also work closely with our business consultants, who are in daily contact with clients and often spot new opportunities for added value.
You work closely with colleagues from marketing and customer teams to spot new opportunities and turn them into action. You also build partnerships, grow your network, and stay up to date with what’s happening in the market — so you know where to go next.

You’re great at it if…
- You have solid experience in B2B sales
- You like taking initiative and defining your own path
- You enjoy working closely with others — collaboration is key
- You can be regularly present at our office in Arnhem (NL) or Berchem (BE)
- You have experience (or strong interest) in digital collaboration, workflow tools, or business process improvement
- You speak and write English fluently. Dutch and/or French at a professional level is a big plus, depending on your location
